Seed Starting 101 Workshop!

Are you curious about starting your own seeds but unsure where to begin? Tired of shelling out big bucks at the nursery every year for plants? Do you feel like you’re missing out on unique plant varieties? How about adding a new skill to your gardening repertoire? Do you have a secret seed-buying addiction (I do)? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then our exciting seed starting workshop is tailor-made for you!

This special annual event offers you the chance to master four distinct seed starting methods under the guidance of a seasoned grower. Plus, you’ll get to take home several trays of seedlings to nurture and enjoy. Here’s what you’ll learn:

1. Indoor Sowing – Soil Blocking Method
2. Indoor Sowing – Traditional Method
3. Outdoor Sowing – Winter Sow Method
4. Outdoor Sowing – Direct Sow Method

Each session will include a detailed lesson and demonstration, giving you the confidence to dive in and get your hands dirty. You’ll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of seeds and craft your own containers of seedlings to bring home (Materials Provided). It’s an engaging, informative, and hands-on experience that’s not to be missed!
